Graduation Requirements
Students must submit an application for their Children's Literature certificate at the same time that they apply for graduation. If an application is not submitted, the certificate cannot be issued until after graduation. A late fee applies to students who submit an application to receive their certificate after graduation.
Completion of the certificate is noted on the student's graduation record. The certificate itself is typically issued in the semester following graduation and is reviewed and signed by the Director of the Children's Literature program. However, if you graduate at the end of the Spring semester you will receive your certificate in the following Fall semester. It is essential that you supply the Director with a current home address which will be applicable after you have graduated so that your certificate can be mailed.
