Children's Lit Paper Prize: Submissions Due April 1

We are pleased to announce the 2019 Children's Literature Paper Prize contest, for the best paper written in an undergraduate core course.

This year we have $400 in prize money to divvy up between the award-winning papers! We usually award first, second, and third place; sometimes there are ties.

Please choose ONE paper that you think represents your best work and turn in THREE COPIES of it by 5 P.M. on Monday April 1st to the mailbox of Professor Courtney Weikle-Mills, located in 501 Cathedral of Learning. Any paper written for a Pitt children’s literature “core” course is eligible. Make sure to include the name of the course and instructor, as well as your name and email address in the top right corner of your submission. Winners will be notified by email and a list of the prize winners and their authors will be posted on the Children’s Literature Program website.
