2016 Children's Literature Paper Prize Winners

We are very pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Children's Literature Paper Prize competition, in recognition of the best undergraduate essay written for a children’s literature class at Pitt. This year:

Taylor Saghy won first prize for her paper, "Simulacra in Paper Towns," written for Critical Approaches to Children's Literature taught by Courtney Weikle-Mills.

Christina Cerio won second prize for her paper,  "Structural Analysis of Mister Rogers," written for Children and Media taught by Tyler Bickford.
