The Children’s Literature Certificate program provided me with some of the most professionally applicable courses that I took while studying at The University of Pittsburgh. After graduation I attended the Summer Publishing Institute at New York University, where many doors were opened to me because of the one of a kind educational background and invaluable connections I obtained through the Children’s Literature program.
I am now living my dream in New York City, creating books for children and I owe so much of that to the knowledgeable faculty and thoughtfully designed courses of the Children’s Literature Certificate program.
