A Talk and Roundtable by Tey Meadow on Transgender Childhood and Researching the Child

The Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies and the Children's Literature Program host Tey Meadow, assistant professor at Harvard, who will discuss her research on transgender children. Dr. Meadow will do a roundtable on methodologies for researching the child with Julian Gill-Peterson and Amanda Chapman called "Gender and the Child: A Roundtable on Queer Method on October 27 from 12:30-2:00 in Cathedral 501. She will also do a talk that same day at 4:00 p.m. in 501 called "Being a Gender: The Transgender Child and Changes in the Self."
